Eric Rutherford
Eric Rutherford was raised in Boulder and has been active in the local real estate market as both real estate broker and investor. After graduating from Fairview High School, he attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland where he was voted Football Team Captain. He subsequently took a commission as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. After the Marine Corps was a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Eric served as class president and graduated from the FBI Academy in Virginia. Eric graduated from the University of Colorado with a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 2004.

Eric has a talent for hunting down good investments and is a firm believer that integrity is the basis for any relationship. Clients include SERVPRO, Arapahoe roofing, Conda Family Partnership, Moosehead Beer, Thistle Community Housing, Tepuy Properties, and PODS among others. References are available.

In 2008, Eric earned the GREEN designation for sustainability. In 2012, Eric earned his CCIM designation, (Certified Commercial Investment Member.) As a CCIM, Eric is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial real estate, a designation that is held by less than 6% of the commercial brokers.

Personable, hardworking and effective, Eric has served as the president of the Commercial Brokers of Boulder County, a position he held for three years. Eric serves on councils and boards at both the city and federal level that help shape local communities. In 2013, Eric served as the president of the Boulder Valley Rotary Club.

A lifelong athlete, Eric enjoys mountaineering, Polar expeditions (Iceland, Greenland and the South Pole) and a variety of sports. On October 18, 2009 Eric was chosen to be on the USNA 50 year anniversary football team where Eric still holds several records. On June 24, 2015 Eric was accepted into the United States Naval Academy Athletic hall of fame.

Eric's worldwide travels have given him a broad cross-cultural experience and he is fluent in Spanish.

Eric lives in Boulder with his wife, Brenda, and their three children.


Dan Tremblay
Since 1981, Dan Tremblay has called Boulder home. As an experienced businessman, sales professional and commercial real estate owner, Dan can competently serve all your commercial real estate needs. His expertise includes commercial leasing, 1031 exchanges, and commercial listings and sales along the Front Range. Being active in the commercial real estate world for the past 20 years as an owner and seller, and currently working on his CCIM certification, Dan is in an excellent position to advise and assist you. Dan, along with his partner, Eric Rutherford, firmly believe that every client deserves timely communication, a smooth transaction and a smart investment opportunity.

Born in New Hampshire, Dan moved to Colorado after he graduated with an associate's degree in business from Daniel Webster College. Colorado's fun attractions and naturally beautiful Flatirons were a perfect fit for his lifestyle. Shortly after moving to Boulder, Dan founded Broadway Automotive, Inc. - an auto parts store - in Boulder. He successfully ran the business as president for 30 years, expanding to a second location in Longmont. In 2013, Dan closed his stores and sold his assets to University Auto Parts (NAPA). He chose to remain an employee of NAPA for 3 years as an outside sales professional handling a variety of accounts, fleets, municipalities, car dealerships, and independent repair shops. Both of these positions allowed him to develop many relationships within the local business community.

Now, Dan spends his time working as a full time commercial real estate agent at WK Real Estate and managing his Longmont shopping center. In his spare time, Dan enjoys traveling and gardening with his wife (Leslie).


Kate Moin
For over 20 years, Kate worked in the property management field in Boulder. She expanded her real estate interest to selling homes and now works exclusively for WK Real Estate's Commercial Division. She assists Eric Rutherford and Dan Tremblay and loves the ongoing educational opportunities that organically come from working with such an
experienced and talented group.

Kate Moin is a native New Yorker, growing up on Long Island. She graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Kate was working in Manhattan when she tired of the "big apple" and decided to leave New York for Colorado. She has never looked back.

Kate restores her energy daily with her love for the mountains and activities including running, skiing, mountain biking, hiking and tennis. She passionately volunteers in the community with organizations such as the Birds of Prey Talon Crew, Habitat for Humanity, The Happy Smackah, and others. This has given her a new perspective and appreciation for the beautiful place we get to call home.
